Public Speaking
Self-expression and persuasion are powerful tools in general for any social, academic, or professional setting. While confidence is often cited as the antidote, overcoming this fear requires the integration of a diverse set of skills, from prompt comprehension, script development, argumentation, to mastery of body language.
The ability to express one’s views through the spoken word is a powerful skill in the information age. Public speaking develops a student’s critical thinking and communications skills, and give the confidence in expressing themselves in English.
Equipped with these knowledge and skills, students will be able to deliver their ideas effectively, creatively and persuasively in any given settings.
