Since 1963, the North American Invitation Model United Nations has been a cornerstone of American Model UN. One of the oldest United Nations simulations for students in the world, NAIMUN has grown over the years into a conference which brings together three thousand high delegates from diverse backgrounds. The Georgetown International Relations Association is delighted to bring that conference experience directly to delegates in Southeast Asia. Gathering delegates from across the Southeast Asian region and beyond, NAIMUN SEA will push delegates to think critically, debate effectively, and negotiate diplomatically across four committees focused on tackling the most pressing issues of the day. With the theme of ‘Crisis to Opportunity’, delegates can expect exciting debates as they work towards forming innovative solutions challenging situations to address key issues that have gripped the world.
