NAIMUN SEA IV
North American Invitational Mode United Nations South East Asia IV
Since 1963, the North American Invitation Model United Nations has been a cornerstone of American Model UN. One of the oldest United Nations simulations for students in the world, NAIMUN has grown over the years into a conference which brings together three thousand high delegates from diverse backgrounds. The Georgetown International Relations Association is delighted to bring that conference experience directly to delegates in Southeast Asia. Gathering delegates from across the Southeast Asian region and beyond, NAIMUN SEA will push delegates to think critically, debate effectively, and negotiate diplomatically across four committees focused on tackling the most pressing issues of the day.
In the past year, the world has been gripped with multiple crises, exposing the inequities present in our health systems, our legal processes, and our societies as a whole. Nonetheless, global innovators have sought to offer solutions that not only solve current issues, but also craft a brighter and more equitable future. From the development of vaccines in record time to the rejuvenation of space exploration, leaders across sectors have taken these pressing challenges and created new opportunities for growth and progress. At NAIMUN SEA IV, we encourage our delegates to do just the same. As delegates, how can you find opportunities amid crisis to orient global society on a greater path?
NAIMUN SEA IV will feature exciting dialogue sessions with faulty from Georgetown University, Model UN workshops presented by the very best of GIRA's MUN team, and two exciting crisis simulations for MUNners who are looking for a challenge and a General Assembly simulation for newer MUNners who are looking to partake in their first MUN experience. Register now to join us at this amazing opportunity!
